About Me

Here's a quick summary: Hi, my name is Zack. I grew up in Seattle and now live in San Francisco. A few years ago, I graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Business Administration (focused on entrepreneurship) and a minor in Environmental Studies. Most recently, I spent a year and a half at Deloitte Consulting working in Risk Management, and now I’m excited to explore the next step in my career.

Here’s a longer summary: At Deloitte, I helped Fortune 500 clients think through their biggest risks and opportunities while also leading internal initiatives around AI tools and ESG trainings. Before starting at Deloitte, my class’s start date was pushed back, which gave me the chance to keep playing lacrosse, the sport I played in college, while also coaching at the high school and youth levels. Lacrosse has always blended two things I really value: strategy and teamwork. Those same qualities carried over into my projects in school and at work, including my time as a marketing intern at Tokki (a reusable gift wrap startup) and 1-800-Tacos (a creative ad agency — yes, that’s really the name).

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me outside playing basketball, pickleball, or running (although after finishing my first marathon, I’m debating whether I’ll ever lace up my running shoes again). I also enjoy exploring creative projects, from developing a mobile game to teaching myself how to code just so I could build a pizza-themed website (although if I had just waited a few years, AI would have saved me some time). Right now, I’m exploring what’s next in my career, whether that’s in strategy, product, or marketing.
