About Me

Here's a quick summary: My name is Zack. I’m from Seattle, but I just moved to San Francisco. I graduated last year from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, receiving a Business Administration degree with a focus in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Environmental Studies. Now I'm working at Deloitte, focusing on the intersection between Enterprise Risk Management and Sustainability.

Here’s a longer summary: Over the past few summers I have worked as a marketing intern at a couple places. I got the opportunity to work at Tokki, a startup that created a new tech-based reusable gift wrap. Then I worked at a marketing, advertising, and content agency called 1-800-Tacos (yes it’s a real company) for two summers. At Tokki and 1-800-Tacos, I was able to put my entrepreneurial skills to work, thinking of campaign ideas, as well as brainstorming names and slogans for brands.

I spent the year after graduating coaching lacrosse at Ballard High School (Seattle) and CitySide. I grew up playing lacrosse and played all four years at Cal Poly. I really enjoyed the team aspect which translated well to my entrepreneurship coursework and projects. In my free time I love watching and playing sports, so if you ever want to get a game of basketball or pickleball going, let me know. I also enjoy learning new skills and have picked up a few over the last year, like HTML and CSS. I recently moved to San Francisco to start as an RFA analyst at Deloitte.
